Enterprise Europe Network West Poland

Enterprise Europe Network is the largest worldwide network for the support of technological and commercial co-operation enabling local companies and institutions to establish international business contacts. 

Bringing together around 600 business support organisations from  more than 60 countries, Enterprise Europe Network helps small companies seize the unparalleled business opportunities in the EU Single Market. Thanks to the funding of the European Union and the Polish Ministry of Economy all the services performed for the compan ies are free of charge.

We are a member of Enterprise Europe Network West Poland Consortium consisting of 9 institutions located in the West of Poland that perform services aiming at entrepreneurship development. Our team consists of 3 consultants specialised in different areas in order to provide the possible wide range of support. Our actions are reflected in our clients’ successes. They establish actual co-operation with foreign partners obtaining new customers, suppliers or subcontractors. Since 2008 as a result of our support around 30 international technology transfer and commercial partnerships and agreements have been signed by our clients.

As Enterprise Europe Network office, the Centre for Enterprise and Technology Transfer, University of Zielona Gora offers the followingservices free of charge for the companies in the region:

1. Information and advisory services with regard to Internal Market in the areas of:

  • legal issues concerning occupational health and safety, energy and power industry, competitiveness, environment protection, taxes, goods and commodities flow, quality systems, standards, certification, currency, establishing business activity in the foreign countries, employment and company financing;
  • national and EU initiatives concerning research and development,
  • analyses of particular countries or markets,
  • public procurement in European institutions.

2. Support offered to companies from the region aiming at international cooperation development by preparing the company’s cooperation profile:

  • preparing and uploading the company’s profile on the Enterprise Europe Network profile database,
  • distributing the profiles of the foreign companies among the Centre clients,
  • organisation of brokerage events, company missions and business meetings with foreign cooperation partners, support in the negotiation process and support in signing international cooperation contracts and agreements.

3. Reporting to the European Commission any concerns or objections to the Internal Market functioning:

  • registering in the “SME Feedback Mechanism” database any anomaly or impropriety of the national or EU law
  • providing the European Commission with the opinions on the influence of the European and national law on the SME sector functioning.
